The depth of water access inequality became clear during the Covid-19 pandemic. This affects women directly, as traditional roles and gender stereotypes continue to overburden women with water-related domestic and caregiving tasks. This project contributed to strengthening local women actors in the right to water and the protection of ecosystems.
