This project investigates the issue of gender-based violence in the informal sector in Kampala, Uganda, as a barrier to women’s effective participation in the economy and explores avenues which can be created and strengthened in order to end this violence. The project has three major components :

• a study,

• a documentary and

• a paralegal training.
